Gina Garbero is a Portland based Photographer.
Considering herself to be an "amateur professional" she
took the step from hobbyist to professional in January of
2009. Self taught, she is rapidly becoming one of
Portland's most desirable and affordable photographers.
Although Gina's prices still reflect those of a new
photographer, the quality of photos that she is taking is far
beyond the average of others with her experience level.
She is adamant about waiting to increase her experience
level significantly before she increases her prices. She
claims that there is still so much to be discovered.
Each shoot is a learning experience bringing out new and
exciting images and techniques. She looks at each
person who has hired her as an honor and an opportunity
to create something magical! She also views the photo
shoots as a team effort. She works patiently with her
clients building the rapport and comfort that allows her to
get the shots that both photographer and client wants.

poses, candid captures range from traditional to photo journalistic photography.
Currently Gina's camera of choice is a Fuji S2000HD.

"Just because somebody has a fancy camera does not mean they are a Professional photographer. Likewise,
just because somebody prefers to shoot with a simpler camera does not mean they can not produce Professional
photos!
